Dr. Joshua Frick
About the Dentist
Dr. Frick is a skilled dentist who combines technical expertise with a passion for patient care, ensuring every visit is both comfortable and effective. With experience in general dentistry, his personal approach to dental care emphasizes collaboration with his patients. He believes patients should fully understand their conditions and all their options before deciding on treatment. He enjoys walking patients through their dental treatments thoroughly and is very detail-oriented and deeply invested in his work and career as a dentist.
Dr. Frick got his start in dentistry while working at a physiology lab in Georgetown, where one of his patients—a dentist and fellow cyclist—planted the idea, telling him “Josh, you’d be a great dentist.”
Later, when his daughter chipped her front tooth in a track race, he reached out to that same dentist friend for help, with Dr. Frick having to step in to assist as a dental assistant. This is when Dr. Frick first became fascinated with dentistry, the tools, the science, and the problem-solving. He attributes that experience to being a driving force in becoming a dentist.

Outside the office, Dr. Frick and his family enjoy an active, outdoor lifestyle. They love living in Utah and enjoy everything from Nordic skiing to ski mountaineering, backpacking, mountain biking, and road cycling. He has also guided bicycle tours through Europe and is a certified USA Cycling coach.
Dr. Frick and his wife of 23 years have two children: a 22-year-old daughter and a 17-year-old son, who’s about to start his senior year of high school.
